The People’s Medical Relief Society owns and operates public charitable Hospital by the name of Smt. Motiben B. Dalvi Hospital, located at 38, Nyayamurti Sitaram Patkar Marg, Gamdevi, Mumbai 400 007. The Society is registered under Maharashtra Public Trust Act. It is also registered under Income Tax Act and holds certificates under section 12A and 80G of that Act.

The Hospital has following facilities for the benefit of general public: Pathology, Radiology, Sonography, 2D Eco, Physiotherapy, Ophthalmic, Dentistry, Dialysis, Chemotherapy, Endoscopy etc. It has Out-patients Department, In patients bed strength of 59 beds, two well equipped Operation Theaters and 7 bedded state of the art ICU.

The Hospital has support of over 150 Consultants including Surgeons most of these also have association with leading Hospitals in the vicinity viz. Breach Candy, Saifee, Reliance, Bhatia, Jaslok etc. Most of these Consultants are associated with the Hospital for good number of years. This Hospital caters to the medical needs of middle-class patients mainly from Girgaum, Gamdevi, Walkeshwar, Tardeo, Lamington Road and Grant Road areas. Some of the patients seeking admissions cannot afford treatment even at reasonable tariff of the Hospital and seek financial support. The Hospital adopts lenient view in all these cases and discount/concessions are allowed ranging from 10% to 100% of the bill amount in deserving cases.

The hospital is planning to start 24X7 Casualty (Emergency Medical Services) for which also capital outlay is necessary. The Hospital has at present need for purchase of following equipment and renovation of entire canteen. The estimated cost of these equipment and renovation cost of the Canteen are as below:
